Ugh, just called and they're telling us we need to go by the local USCIS office processing time which is currently showing they are processing September of 2010 and it would probably be a couple more months before we heard anything else about it. I really don't believe anything they have to say.

Im sorry to hear your process is at a stand still.... did you get an interview date yet??

Soooo i haven't updated in awhile, but things have been so crazy!! We had our interview and got APPROVED!! We recieved the welcome to America letter and am now just waiting for our GC.

As for moving (if anybody remembers) we did not successfully move to NYC.... so we stayed in Maryland and got a nice 2 bedroom. Maybe we will try again in a couple years (after we remove conditions, lol)

good luck to everyone with their on-going process!! Thank you all for being so supportive during our "visa journey" <----- hahah see what i did right there!

I got an email/text on saturday saying "On May 13, 2011, we ordered production of your new card...."

Then today I got the same text/email?? what does this mean...anyone else get the same emails twice?

Yeah, it's just frustrating. My husband really wanted to start taking some college courses this fall and without the green card we can't get him registered or signed up for FAFSA. Hopefully it'll come soon, before the deadline in June.

I think CSC is a good thing though... seems like everyone else who got transferred there heard nothing for awhile, then got approved without an interview.

We just got finished with the interview!!!! our appointment was at 9am and we arrived around 8:45am and waited for almost an hour... when we got called the IO asked for our ID in the room... Asked for some paper works like residential lease, recent bank statement they also looked for our original birthcertificate and marriage license... Asked me my last entry to the United Stated, i gave a recent utility bill and also a letter from my old employer asking to re-hire me and asked if we still have some papers we want to submit... and also the IO looked at our baby's ultrasound and that was it... it probbly just lasted for almost 10 minutes... She told us that we should get the greencard within a few weeks and asked if we have some questions and she was very nice... and that was it! We just have to wait for our greencard... And goodluck to the others who is still waiting for their interview! Just be relaxed... :-)

Hi! I haven't received my interview letter yet! everyday I check the website and nothing. until yesterday, my I-485 showed up but it's still on initial review. I thought maybe they sent me a mail already for interview schedule but still none. they keep telling me when I call, that I'm still on waitlist for interview schedule. I'm kinda getting frustrated already... the I-130 though still doesn't show up.

anybody here in the same situation?

I haven't received anything either. I was told to go by the estimated timeframe of my local USCIS field office, which is showing they are still working on October 2010.
