On here it says to file the forms to Texas : http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=1872aca797e63110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

However I see people filing to different places, and I've read that where to file depends on where you live. I live in Maine...so where do I send my K-1 Fiancee Visa petition? I don't want to send it to Texas and have it sent back to me x]

Apparently, the Texas service center is used to sort applications, which then get sent to either Vermont or California. I'd follow the USCIS advice and mail your package to Texas :)

You send your petition to the address in the instructions: Texas Lockbox.

When it arrives there, it will be sorted and sent on to the appropriate service center.

I believe that they will be sending yours on to Vermont based on where you filed.

Send it to Texas and they'll process it to the appropriate service center. Texas is the appropriate mail point.

On the current I-129F instructions, it clearly states you have to send it to Texas, regardless of where you live:

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

Suite 400

Lewisville, TX 75067

The address used to be determined by which state you live, that is no longer the case.

Hope this helps.

That use to be the case, we filed out I-129F to VSC back in 2006, but things change all the time. Now ALL I-129F go to Texas, and from there depending on work load they may send it to a different center.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.
