Right, because you know for a fact that I haven't? Do you know whether or not I myself am of Russian or Colombian descent? And iyo, how many Russians or Colombians does one need to meet in order to be qualified to have an opinion? 1? 5? 10,000?

What an ignorant thing to say.

You've met what? A handful of women, let's even say 100...and that makes you an expert on everyone in Russia and Columbia? The final word on all things Colombian/Russian/etc because you have yourself a Colombian wife?

It's not a stupid thing to say, it's been called 'mail order brides' since before I was alive - it reflects the practice has been done from even before the internet. It's not a new concept.

And FYI, I wasn't specifically referring to you in the first place. If you find my views not relevant to your situation, why even take it personally? Because you took umbrage at what I said is perhaps more telling than you may want. *shrug*

I read a study once that said the most ignorant people are the ones that don't see it at all and think everyone else is ignorant. Your way of making your point and defending yourself by calling others ignorant is childish. I see you argue with so many many here on VJ with your long posts and vocabulary that many would never use. Does it make you feel better about yourself when you put others down?

Whilst Lisa is more than capable of excellent wordsmithery, I'd never go so far as to say that she is linguistically lording it over anyone in terms of vocabulary. I find her message very clear.star_smile.gif

Yes, you know this becasue you've met people from latin america, Clearly a statement based on real experience,,

My wife didn't want to come to the US, she hope we could live in her country.. how does that figure into your theory?

My fiancee would love it if I moved to her country as well. All she wants is for us to be together. If I didn't have kids and an ex, then I would certainly do it. Who knows, maybe 10 years from now we'll be moving there.

I just realized who lisa C is, It didn't hit me until your posts, but she used the name Happy Bunny before, and boy has she had some stupid arguements...

That clears up a lot...

No point in responding to her stupid arguements now that I realize who she is..
