Work visa while awaiting K1?

My fiance and I just filed for the K-1 visa. We were wondering if he can come here on a work visa while awaiting the K-1?

Does he have a US company willing to sponsor him for a work visa?

There are no blanket work visas that he can apply for that allows him unrestricted work authorization. He needs to apply for a job, be accepted for the position, and have the company submit the paperwork for his visa

He can get a job working for a company owned by someone I know. I just want to know if he can do so without affecting the K1 process. I understand we will have to travel back to his country for the interview. We are just really concerned as to whether or not this is possible.

sure but employment visas are not just a simple request away... there is a bit of an approval process

The usual work visa is the H1b.

That allows dual intent, immigrant and non immigrant.

So you can move to the US on the work visa which is pretty quick to process, marry at your leisure and then adjust to Permanent Resident without leaving.

Not an option many have, but a nice one.
