I’m just going to write what others are thinking.

How could you! Especially after all the hard work, uncertainty, delays, money, energy, and resources, AND what do you do... OPEN THE FREAKIN ENVELOPE! UNBELIEVABLE! Excuse me for be critical, but we are all dying to be in your shoes. You probably just stressed the hell out of your beloved who should have given you a good tongue lashing because you deserve it. GOODNESS! You are lucky that you do NOT need to return to the Manila Embassy in order to get the package resealed because you would be waiting all dahamn day. And you would deserve that too!!!

Good luck and God’s speed in the rest of your journey!!!

NOTE: PLEASE RETURN TO THE EMBASSY OR COSULATE (where you had the interview) AND HAVE THEM RESEAL YOUR PACKAGE! AND DON'T RE-OPEN IT!!!!

Very harsh! I was not thinking that myself. It sounds like an easy fix, good luck and congratulations!

Whats the guarantee even if its sealed they will not reopen it again?

who are "they"...? Who do you mean?

It will be opened - but not by anyone else than by the United States Immigration or Public Health Service officer....

So I did a mistake which all people know - but I would of course not do it again if I got it handed to me again sealed... I am not that stupid... But I shouldnt say never... You never know; I migt have a topic going on here again next week saying "I opened the sealed envelope AGAIN".

So, Majizee, who are you talking about?

"You may have to file a fresh I-129F and follow all the rules this time. This process has zero tolerance for error."

Is this some kind of sick joke?

Yeah, it is a joke & Majizee is SICK! Don't trust,

To the OP, just relax & go back to the consulate. It is an honest error ( i hope).

You Jani, of course.

If the message told you the first time not to open the envelope and you opened it, what makes them think you wont do it again?

What is the difference between the order you received NOT to open the package the first time and the order you will get the next time, that will make a difference?

Whats the guarantee even if its sealed they will not reopen it again?

Yes dear, please don't trust anyone telling you that you should feel bad or that you're going to be in trouble. And Majizee is famous for being an arsehole who wants to provoke people. Everything will be fine! Just a quick trip. Best of luck and welcome to the US!

thank you, that was sweet...

Its easy to get sad of bad words now when you already feel sad and dumb.

But I do also laugh about it a bit... it was kind of ironic and silly - and I am sure it is easy to fix. I really did freak out real good yesterday.

But honestly; I was really excited and happy yesterday, and thats why I opened it - Im sure Majizee doesnt know about that kind of feelings...

Its a thunder outdoors now... I wonder if its too dangerous to go out for a walk?

With my luck it is!

Alex+R - You are hilarious! I'm sure my neighbors are wondering why I'm laughing so dahamn loud!!!

Jani - It's only dangerous outside if there is a brown envelope in your path that is only is supposed to be opened at the POE. LOL!

Just ignore Majizee. He just comes here and causes trouble. No one that has seen more than one of his posts takes him serious.

Majizee = Broomstick with all his bristles dirty and broken off, whining because no one will use him to sweep the nasty hair clippings of the barber floor any more.

you dirty broom.

get a swiffer sweeper.

That was possibly the most bizarre insult I have ever seen. I love it.

Whoaaaaa...hold on Uling! I was not thinking that at all so keep your thoughts in the singular for yourself and not include "others" in your harshness.

To the OP - take everything you hear in VJ with a grain of salt!

To everyone else - BE NICE!

Is this some kind of sick joke?

I hope it is...

but still... I did open the envelope I wasnt suppose to open - so something might and should happen because of all the rules etc.... or am I wrong?

I am just worried and scared that I destroyed something good now. Stupid me!

My brown envelope arrived with a tear in it, so to be on the safe side I sent it by Embassy Courier (London) and it was resealed for me. Phone you Embassy tomorrow morning, they will give you a reference number and either an appointment or instructions on how to send everything to them, depending on the Embassy. You should be fine. Let us know.
