The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I am preparing DS-230 for my parents and came across with question 31a & 31b kind of confusing..I have filed I-130 for my sister too.

do i need to write my sister name in 31b?

and what to write in 31a?

You just don't write anything because their cases are separate cases!

Called NVC a few minutes ago..No case number assigned as yet.I will call back next week;probably Tuesday.

Okay...they told me to call around the end of this month! :wacko: but let let me ask you on my NOA2 says that they already sent the petition to NVC but I should not call in 30 days for processing!Does say the same on your NOA2?

My mother got her interview today and she was asked the following questions:

Who is the petitioner?

If she was separated from her husband?

When was the last time she saw the petitioner (me)?

When was the last time she travelled to the US?

Asked for my original birth certificate and her passport pictures

The consul said Congratulations you've been approved, pick up your passport and envelope in 10 business days and she returned a file with extra documents

They did not return the only document I needed my original marriage certificate :angry:

But I can't complaint, my mommy will be coming home soon :yes:

I MAILED THE I-864 ON 06/20 AND IV PACKET TODAY ON 06/25.....WHATS GONNA HAPPENED NEXT, HOW LONG NVC IS GONNA ACCEPT THESE, WAITING FOR INTERVIEW LETTER.......

PLSS GUIDE ME FROM HERE

We called in 11 days after mailing the IV package and they told us our case was complete.

After that, the next email you should receive is to set your interview date at the consulate/embassy.

THANKS BUDDY I WAS THINKING ONE THING, I HAVE A FRIEND IN MARYLAND..SAME IR5 CASE, NVC EMAIL HIM FOR EACH AND EVERY THING LIKE I864 PACKAGE , IV

(DS230) INSTRUCTIONS..AND IN MY CASE NVC ONLY SENT ME EMAILS REGARDING THE FEES AND DS3032 ACKNOLDGEMENT....I JUST PAID THE FEES AND PRINT THE COVER LETTER FROM THE SITE, BUT I HAVENT RCVD ANY EMAIL....
