Everyone here needs to keep in mind that the statistics you are looking at on Visa Journey are past and present TRENDS for timelines. You might get finished in 6 weeks, you might take the maximum time for everything. It's frustrating and annoying. However, it seems that the MASSIVE amounts of filing during the "quick" trend of the summer have inevitably caused a back up in the process. Your forms are not late...YET.

Be patient. A lot of us had to wait more than 6 weeks to get approved. ;) A lot of people have waited longer than those of us who waited "normal" times. A lot are still waiting...

Trust me, once you get past the K-1 nothing in the rest of this process makes you want to rush it.

You are right! I ran my own company and i newer charge clients before I complete the order. First I make sure the clients are happy and then I get paid. Is in it right? Why some cases get approved with in 1 to 3 month and some people have to wait sooooooooooooooo looooooooooooooong? Mine is pass 5 month mark as well. We are both single, I am an US citizen, no crime records, we met 5 times during the last year and i am going back to him for New Year. The problem is no NOA2 and it's over 5 month for us! We are well ready for the next step but we are not allowed to do it. Why?

the Government cannot and does not do any kind of business very well. make me wonder why so many keep voting for the same people in Washington. back to the subject at hand, some can take a very long time. I would bet that some of the problem is lack of information from foreign country's. probably a small part considering we are dealing with government red tape and bureaucracy.
