We are almost ready to mail off our I-130 petition and wanted to see if there was anything that anyone might urge me to add or give me some second thoughts on it.

We obviously have our

I-130

G-325a (both)

joint bank statements

My birth certificate

emails, letters, Skype call records between us and family

13 Affidavits

Marriage Certificate

Payment

Divorce Decrees

Pictures of us together and with others

Wedding save the date and invitation

wedding receipt for dress and flowers

Flight details for us both

Wedding cards and Christmas cards addressed to us both

Costco membership details

ANYTHING else I should include?? Am I missing something?

and I know there was some detailed instructions on how to assemble the package would anyone have the link?

Thanks,

Rose

Rose, I went to get this link for you so you can 'clip' the G-1145 (email notice form) on the front of your I-130 app. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD. OK, also remember to include 2 passport pics of each of you (put in ziplock with names and birthdays on back in ink). One important one I nearly missed was to make sure I had both front and back sides of my birth certificate. And, I included ALL 24 pages of my US Passport, as that was what I-129F instructions read. I recall in one of the formum, the way to organize the file before you send it in, but I followed the checklist on my instruction sheets. MAKE 2 or 3 COPIES OF EXACT FILE YOU SEND IN; one in case your husband may need it for whatever reason, and a copy for you here. The other is an extra. Better safe than sorry. I wish you the best and we are newbies too, so WELCOME to VJ!! You'll get a lot of support here. Mari

That looks like a solid package. I really don't think you will have any problems. It's just the luck of the draw these days in how long it will take to get through USCIS though. Catch the right service center at the right time and it will fly through. Get a bit less lucky and catch the wrong SC, and it will take quite a while longer. Either way, I'm sure you will make it through. Here's hoping you have a bit of luck!

A friend of mine just got a RFE and they requested birth certificate and copy's of her passport. They are not using the passport as establishing your citizenship, they use it to prove you went to your spouses country by the stamps you recieved. Hope that helps.

Actually we have the passport photos ready and the email notification paper as well. I accidentally left them off my list. I need to make a copy of both sides of MY birth certificate or my spouses?
