I am filling out the I-129F and the G-325A and both are asking for my Fiance's address. He doesn't have what we consider a normal address. There is no number in it. It is basically a description of where he lives. He does have a P.O. Box though. Is that good enough? And if not, what do we do? Thank you!

Use the description on the G325a and the PO box on the I-129F

My fiance's present address uses a PO box as well, since he lives in military barracks. The immigration lawyer whom we have been consulting suggested that I make attachment pages for both forms, while indicating "Pls see attachment page with this immigration form" on the spaces provided on the respective forms. The attachment pages had the headings, "ATTACHMENT PAGE – FORM G-325A BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION," and "ATTACHMENT PAGE – FORM I-129F, PETITION FOR ALIEN FIANCE(E)" and for the subheading, we indicated the question no., and the corresponding information asked, following the format on the official forms. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I'm sorry. I found your answer a bit confusing. Could you give some more detail so I can understand better. I appreciate it. Thank you!

I'm sorry. I found your answer a bit confusing. Could you give some more detail so I can understand better. I appreciate it. Thank you!

sorry to have caused you confusion. I am assuming that you are the beneficiary filling up the forms for your petitioner fiance, as was my case, because of your statement, "I am filling out the I-129F and the G-325A and both are asking for my Fiance's address..." As far as I know, only the petitioner will fill up the I-129F.

You will see a table below the questions for Address on both forms. That will be Part A, Question no. 2 for i-129F and for G-325A, it says, "Applicant's residence last five years. List present address first." On the boxes/ table found on the official forms, I typed, "Pls see attachment page with this immigration form." Then i made the attachment/ supplementary page, using a plain 8.5 x 11" bond paper. The title of the attachment page for my fiance's I-129F attachment page read, "ATTACHMENT PAGE – FORM I-129F, PETITION FOR ALIEN FIANCE(E)" then I typed:

Part A. Information about you.

Question No. 2 - Address

you will notice that it is the same format on the i-129F official form. i typed my fiance's address below that.

For the G-325A, it looked something like this:

ATTACHMENT PAGE – FORM G-325A BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

Question – Applicant’s residence last five years.

I then made a replica of the table found on the G-325A form, and typed fiance's address. i skipped the boxes when it is not applicable, and supplied further information to make his address complete such as his room and PO box nos. I think you can also simplify the table by creating a 2 column table and typing the complete address on one side and the duration of stay on the other. I think the more important part here is that you are able to list down all the places in US that he had lived in, and his length of stay, rather than the format. Our lawyer stressed the importance not leaving the boxes blank on the official forms though. Hope that clarifies my previous answer =)

Use the description on the G325a and the PO box on the I-129F

I know of no government agency that accepts a PO as an address. INS wants to know where he or she lives not where he or she gets the mail. Put down the street and town if no number.

Then your knowledge is limited. The G325a form is biographical and should contain the physical address. In this kind of case, it's perfectly acceptable to provide a PO Box on the I-129F. That way, they have both the mailing address AND the physical address in the packet.

Even in the USA, there are people who do not have a physical address that can be described. I'm thinking now of one of mine. We had a rural route and box address but the mailbox was three miles from our home on a county dirt rode that was not named or marked, 14 miles from the nearest town if you took the shortcut using a rode the county didn't maintain.

Mailing addresses for both petitioner and beneficiary are needed as well as their physical addresses. When they are not the same address, this is how you do it. Ain't my first rodeo.
