I filed my I-129F and was notified that it was received by the CA Service Center July 7th, 2010. When I took a look at the USCIS website regarding my staus is shows the Last Updated info as July 9th, 2010. I assume that means absolutely nothing has happened with my request and I'm starting to get really worried. I've called and they tell me to call back once it's out of normal processing time which would be December 7th.

Does anyone have insight/suggestions/resources to recommend? Things are starting to appear pretty bleak...

my noa1 from cali was on july 6th, and the only touches mine has received was when they did address changes for when i moved, then they accidently reverted back to my old one, and i had to get it changed again. you probably won't see a touch on it till they pull it to approve it. watch the timeline page, they are only about 60% done with the june filers from cali, i'm bettin i'll get mine around december 2nd unless they slow down again, you will prolly be around there somewhere too.

I filed a I-130. I received a RFE ( i know it's not the same as a NOA2  ) about two weeks ago and it was within the 5 month period that they gave me. My NOA1 date is June 6 so it was pretty accurate. Now, there is another couple that got a NOA1 two days after I got mine and they got their NOA2 the same week I got my RFE. So don't worry, you should be getting yours veeeery soon. It's a matter of patience. I would even give it another month. Sometimes we tend to think that something is wrong or that we are the only ones desperately waiting, but we are not! ;)

Good luck!!!!

if you dont' have yours by like november 30th then i'm gonna start worrying about mine :P

but not until then

sigh, right?

i love seeing threads where someone got approved, makes me happy that uscis is doing SOMETHING, but part of me is still so jealous each time that it's not me :(

owut? really? i actually DID get a touch on the 16th...but they were having problems gettin my G-28 attached to my file last month, so i just dismissed it to them finally doing that, but if you two got them in the last two days then maybe it actually means something! :D

Thanks to all who replied to this thread! I honestly feel a lot better knowing I am not alone! I'm crossing my fingers and toes that we all get our approvals soon!

Thanks to all!

you'll have to let us know when you do get a touch on yours, since between the 4 of us we have two july 6ths and 2 july 7ths, and 3 of us have touches in the last 2 days, i'll bet you'll get one any day now as well. and even if it just means that we got put into a stack on someone's desk, well hell, it's better than being in a box in a warehouse :)
