Contemporary country music is horrible. Try some classic Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson. Even I can appreciate those two artists.

Willie Nelson really?

I like country music, the oldies and contemporary. I just have to take it in small doses. Some of the best songwriting I've seen has come from country songs.

Come on now, lets be honest about country music lyrics..... at times, they can be as much of a brutal assault on the english language as rap.

I have to disagree with you on this one. Sure there is no shortage of songs that live up to the country music stereotype but many more that dont.
