Probably a stupid question, but which service center do I address my letter of intent to for my filing of the I-129F if I'm the beneficiary?

I'm sorry for all the dumb questions I've been asking lately. I want to make sure this goes off without a hitch.

May want to read the I-129F instructions.

You address it to the center that will process your application, depends which services the area you live in the US.

CSC or VSC.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask. Stand by for the immigration experts to give you the perfect advice.

Yeah, I did read the application instructions, and we don't know which one services our area of the US. It's Orlando, Florida so do we use VSC or CSC? Help?

Yes the package is sent to Texas Lockbox BUT the texas lockbox is a SORTING facility. They send your petition to CSC or VSC after and it is THEM who does your petition not texas. You want to address your letters acordingly.

well considering the petitioners no longer know or choose which service center their petitions get sent to,i assume there is no need to address a service center

Thank you! For some reason, when I looked it up on Google it kept telling me our service center would be Texas when I knew for a fact that Texas would just send it to VSC or CSC. I just needed to know which one. My Googlefu is no match for yours!

lol took me a while to find it. I filed back when they had the list on the USCIS website so I used key wording to try an find it again. If you look in some of the other instruction pages for other petitions it still lists them as well.

It goes to Texas first but then gets sent VSC or CSC after.

I'm in Miami, I just got routed to Vermont (VSC). I would think you would too. However I wrote all of my letters to USCIS and addressed them to the Texas lockbox. Regardless of who gets it, they would understand why it was addressed in the package to the Texas lockbox, since they know thats where they get sent now.

I needed to know this too. I just put the lockbox address as well thinking it will be okay. Hope to mail out my application soon.

The VJ sample letter of intent is great, but there is no need to address it to ANY service center. You can if you want but given the current policy of assigning the petitions to whatever service center "needs the work" it is likely to be incorrect anyway. "Dear Adjudicator" will work just fine. Make sure YOUR NAME, Beneficiary and your FIANCE's NAME, Petitioner, are clearly listed at the top or bottom of the letter
