Even my hippie pot smoking friends voted against it. They didn't like the way it was structured. But, California voters did vote to raise taxes all over the place, including taxing Medicinal Marijuana Dispensaries.

and while Prop 19 would, the Feds have neglected to truly go after medicinal marijuana yet either, which is interesting in itself as it doesn't recognize it.

California .. "The Golden State" as it was once known just decades ago, lead the country in education, business, innovation, opportunity and yes.... Ronald Reagan.

THESE STATES HAVE TO SINK OR SWIM ON THEIR OWN WITHOUT BAILOUTS FORM THE OTHERS.

California is going through a bad spell, they also do not pay enough taxes and are suffering like Greece is, for the very same reason.

You want to know about dysfunctional, have a look at Mississippi, the state is the butt of jokes, yet the rep senator still wants more cuts. That is when you know the place is full of clowns.

Apart from Texas and possibly cities in NC, the majority of Red states are not equipped for the 21st century, certainly not with their 19th century mindset and workers. Why else do you think Rand Paul picked Kentucky? He capitalized on stupid, you think people in Boston or educated states would vote for him?
