So through this journey I'm seeing how many will move for love! Who moves more, women or men? Would you move to your spouses country if you were asked?

I am the female and moved. My fiance was in the military so we really didn't have a choice as to who moved.

my husband moved although i would have moved to his country in fact we plan to within 5 years. things are far less complicated if he has u.s. passport when we travel to other countries and i cannot get citizenship in his country.

The early responses to this moving question remind me of, and constitute a perfect opportunity to relate, a related joke, si man:

An American Indian named Bowels lived just outside the edge of an Indian reservation. One day, he was approached by a government agent, who informed Bowels that his teepee was on land that was being possessed under eminent domain, and that Bowels would have to move. "Bowels no move," said Bowels. "Tough," said the agent. "You have to move in one month."

A fellow Indian, who was visiting, overheard the exchange, and he told Bowels that an Indian Affairs liaison had an office in town. Bowels came into town, but instead of entering the Indian Affairs office, he mistakenly went into a doctor's office just next door. The doctor greeted him and asked, "How can I help you?"

"Bowels no move," said Bowels.

"I have just the thing for you," said the doctor, and he handed Bowels a bottle of laxatives. "Take one of these every night, and come see me again in a week."

Bowels returned in a week, but said nothing. The doctor asked, "Well? Was there any result?"

"Si man, Bowels move now!" Bowels said. "Teepee full of sh!t!"
