What is the average time it takes the NVC to review documents and send to consulate?

apparently its a carefully guarded government secret :)

Did you get the letter/email that says they have everything to complete your case?

It seems I remember reading here at one time that the files may be electronically sent immediately but the actual "paper file" is mailed via special courier once or twice a month. With the sensitivity of the information contained in a visa application care must be taken to protect that information. Just my Experience.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Oops sorry, I misread your question. What kind of visa? What embassy? Do you have a case that might be slowed by past marriages, visa applications, criminal histories? For a general overview you can see the visa timeline link. Good luck.

No i have not recieved any e-mails or postal from them. I have called them twice and they just say it takes 4-6 weeks to review.

Why and how would previous marriages slow down the process? Thanks.
