aww well know im praying for you every night hun and everyone not approved yet...if you get approved before months out u will be a june nvc like me:) still haven't got case number they said call in july but will call every day to check avr and every other to talk to person...haha..if you don't grease the wheel these ppl do nothing..

It has been many months since I came here. My life has been a complete chaos ever since last few months. Don't ask. Just lots of family drama. I don't recognize many of you as you are all new. I hope your visa journey has been good so far and you are moving along. I've gone through the whole dance from April 2010 - February 2011. Thanks. I hope so too. Our anniversary is this month. I really thought we would be together to eat the cake top together. I guess it will have to freeze until next year.

me too. I'm trying to take it just one day at a time but im beginning to get a little depressed.

I am still waiting too and I was in good spirits most of this week with high hopes again, but it is Friday and I have not heard anything. I wish I could just shake this feeling that nothing is being done with our application and it is just going to sit there untouched forever. So depressing.

Have they told you what the hold up is for you?

dumb/dumber is in extensive background checks, when i was told that bs they told me they're actually waiting for the beneficiary's country to send them stuff and it depends on how long it takes them to do that then they go on with the process..but who knows.. im still waiting for my case number for nvc i was hoping this would be quicker than uscis..but will be creeping up on the 20 days soon, each operator tells me to call different day..im praying for monday..so i can get this over with and be with hubby, at this pt and time we don't care how interview goes..this process can either make love stronger or destroy it i think, good thing all of ours have been the stronger!!!!

What kind of stuff were they waiting on from the beneficiary's country?

they said hits on the name and probably criminal records that you turn around and send to nvc they also told me it can be regular background checks or FBI which will take longer(i almost died when lady on here contacted me that she had been waiting two yrs on background..i think she moved to his country to wait it out) so i called uscis and told them i needed to know something because if long time i was just moving there..

ohhhh sweetie is so beautiful..plz don't be upset..i know is very hard i got noa 2 june 15th and still nothing from nvc ..i will stay with u until u know something..i hope is soon..hopefully their is something..i called uscis everyday to be honest because sometimes one operator won't tell anything and another operator will try to be helpful..one put in service request earlier than suppose to because she felt sorry had been almost 5 months and nothing...keep calling someone who cares about your plight..if you go to my photos on my profile u will see Marjus and me:) u have face to go with me..lol oh and if congressman no help call senator and rep too ..i called all three, if u say they not help u the other will maybe to out do the other..i hate politics:(

i tried to message you regarding your question but couldn't for some reason so i'll just respond here.

no need to send them the scanned copy of what they emailed you. go ahead and forward the template used here to your husband and have him fill it out and email them again. it will only take them (usually) a day to respond and acknowledge receipt of your email.

thanks and i did send template with his email.. and waiting for response and u r right they didnt accept scan..so hopefully this week accept and will be able to give them my cash..then off to husband to wait rest out..

well i figured i would add an update for everyone here I took 2 weeks off from work & went to see my sweetie in the Philippines

we had a great time but once my time was up i had to come back to new hampshire & get back to work.I was however able to download some forms while i was rite there & my wife & i filled out everything that we could rite there at the internet cafe (no need to do all of that really small writing on a big stack of forms)

so i'm now back home & today i called our friends in portsmouth. i had a couple of questions, 1st how can I do a change of address (not the AR-11)

the ar-11 is only for someone who is already here in the US come to find out the guy i talked to could update my wife's address over the phone

the 2nd thing i called for was a mailing address for the "choice of address & agent" & incase someone is still as uninformed as i was i'll post it here

my wife & i are a little behind from some other filers due to the fact that we had to stop & wait for her to take her nursing exam in her home country, well she is now finished with that so i guess it's time to get into high gear & bang out the rest of this papaerwork.
