hello fellow VJers on one of the 150billion forms/posts i have been reading it says

4. Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page regarding question 18 of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it.

so my question is what do i write in the QA 18 box. something like see filed declaration? i could not seem to locate a example and im sure there is 50 somewhere here but it might be easier if someone just could point me in the right direction

just explain how you met and how your relationship got the point of engagement ( keep in mind the dates you mention in q18,as in when you met and what not will be the ones questioned in the interview )

my question 18 was very simple I think mine was maybe three sentences at the most I definitely did not use an extra sheet....I hope that helps Good luck

We used an attached sheet ....in the box 18 on the form we typed, see attached sheet. At the top of the attached sheet we put Question 18. Declaration of meeting in person then a few lines down went on to explain how we met in person. Dated and signed it.

The size of the box on the form is indicative of the length of answer they are looking for. Ours was two sentences and yours should be too. Just when you met.

I referred to my saved file. This is exactly what I wrote in the box for question 18:

PLEASE SEE ENCLOSED EXPLANATION LETTER.

Of course, I enclosed a letter with the heading suggested by the VJ guidelines.

I did a bit more of a detailed letter. I said on the space in the form 'please see attachment' and then i went on to explain the date we met, where we met, our anniversary date, holidays we've been on and our plans for the future etc... It might be a bit much but you have to do what you think is right. I wouldn't have felt comfortable saying we met on such a date and thats it!! I think all experiences are different, one guy on here sent in only one photo of him and his fiancee and another post i just read said they sent in 25! i sent 12.
