When you call don't mention when you called last time. Just say you are calling to check the status on a case. They'll say it's pending, you should mention it's been out of 5 months period. Get your senator's immigration office involved also.

Ok, who wants to hear a good story?? All thoughts, insight and experiences on this will be totally helpful. My wife called 3 times today..finally she got someone to talk to her. To update you, we requested expedited service last tuesday..faxed documents in..and we were told that we should hear something in about 5 or 6 days. So end of this week comes...nobody wants to answer any questions, it's been over the 5 days as we were told to call after the 6th day.

So finally my wife gets ahold of a Tier 1 I believe. They check the system and he asks her..you haven't heard anything yet? no email or letter or phone call? she says no..he says, hmmm that's odd. Now the Tier 1 tells her he has limited information, but that we should've heard something by now. The Tier 1 says on his system it says, Target Date 10/3 and Fulfillment date of 10/3. So a decision was made, but he doesn't know what decision was made..that's all it shows in his computer. He then proceeds to tell my wife that it might've gotten lost or email notification may have been a typo.

Therefore he is going to resubmit the expedite request and gave her a new reference number, which references the previous request in the system. He said not to call back before Friday, the 15th of October. He also told her that since it will be over 14 days without any notification..that it would be 'someone's fault'..and then he referred her to look up the expedite criteria on the USCIS website. I'm guessing he meant USCIS error..grounds for expedite, so one can assume.

IF we dont hear something by Friday he instructed her to call back and raise hell on the phone and demand to talk to someone in California.

The Tier 1 also did mention that if someone is rude to you when you call, try to get their employee number..the one they tell you when they call..and you can report them for being rude or if you have a complaint against them. That happened to my wife twice today, and the Tier 1 said if she had taken down that lady's number..he would've reported her.

So..how screwed up is this? you can smell the cheeseburger...you know there's a cheeseburger..you can see it..but you can't take it outta the bag, because you dont know if you're allowed to eat yet or not...lol

has there been any touches on your case, mate? id say they screwed up with target and so called fulfillment dates and have not looked at it yet maybe. thats possibly the delay. my wife was told that they sort the expedites into some kind of order but the iso wouldnt say what.

but your info is good to know though. as of this coming wednesday itll be 14 days if we dont hear. i think my wife will put in another serv req. if not heard a thing by tuesday or wednesday.

Funny thing is, the Tier 1 said that a decision had been made..but he didn't have the result, I assume the fulfillment date means the case was completed on 10/3..but yet no email, phone call..perhaps something in snail mail. Loto said his just showed up in the mail, he didn't receive an email, no webpage update or anything..really quite odd.

the request was made on 9/28..same day as yours I believe..that's why I'm watching what happens to your case so closely, lol

no mate ours was the fternoon of the 24th when my wife rang it it. then she had an email requesting further info, then this week she had the mailed hard copy of the same. we have faxed it twice. fed exd docs and ive also emailed them as attachments. id like to think no news is good news! for now.

i will defo keep you informed of our progress.
