1,010 for the I485/Biometrics fee

3$40 (I think) for EAD...

It's 1,010 for AOS. That's for the I485, I765, blah blah.

The I-130 is $355.

I tried to get on the USCIS website but it sucks. I'd suggest double checking there. Make sure your friends make out the checks right, and have read over ALL of the instructions THROROUGHLY. :)

There is no fee for EAD (I-765) when filed with AOS.

Good luck!

OK folks one of my friends is filing and I forgot the fee for sending the whole AOS package / I485, I130, I765, etc/ cause I did it with an attorney.

What visa are they AOSing from? I assume a tourist, student or work visa given you mentioned the I-130.

The I-130 is $355

AOS is the I-485, G-325A, I-864, I-693 and costs $1,010.

If you file the AP ($131) or EAD (I-765) at the same time as AOS (or before AOS is approved) then the fee for those is waived.

Please read the guides.

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a visa other than a K1, K2, K3 & K4 which the prior forum is for **

Pls note that fee for I765 is not included with the I-485.

There is separate fee for I765--- fee will be waived unless you are inluded in the ff category listed.

K1 is not waived.

Ugh. Of COURSE K1 is not waived, you're not applying as a K1, you're applying as an Adjustment of Status applicant. If you're applying as a K1 you would send it BEFORE you send your AOS documents (which is a waste of money really).

There is NO fee for EAD or AP if filed together with AOS. I can 100000000000000000% guarantee this. Not only did i get mine, but so have hundreds and thousands of other AOS applicants. :guides:

well, I still sent a check for I765 for $340

you will be waived if you belong to the categories listed...

check the pdf file below..

$1,010 for I-485 including the biometrics.. I didnt file for I-130.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-765instr.pdf\

It is important to read ALL of the instructions. If you read page 8 of the link you posted above, you will see this:

"If you filed and I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, as of July 30th 2007 no fee is required..."

Hope they refund you...

NOTE: Effective July 30, 2007, if you file I-485 NO ADDITIONAL FEE IS REQUIRED to also file an application for employment.

I am not sure how I should understand it... they put an instructions on how to pay... if not needed why add an instructions on

how to pay by check or eft? I don't get it... there is a diff between no additional fee and no fee is required...I have no seen the line where

it says " No fee is required" but regardless I think I should make a phonecall to USCIS to double check on this that rely on

posts here.. then I'll get back to you guys.

Just spoke to the USCIS agent. 1800-3755383

Fees for I485 - is $1,010. Including biometrics.

I765 is $340 but there are exemptions. You may read the guidelines if fee will be waived

according to your visa category.

I was clearly advised " to read the instructions about fees because it is an automatic denial to process

the paper if there are no fees included".. always make sure you check if your cateogry is listed

in tge instructions before you assume of NO FEES because it will be a delay in your case.

I never said here that there is NO FEE...

I even included the amount of the fees for the I485 and I765... and I even added the link for the instructions for people to read.

Let's not split hairs here and possibly confuse the OP. In the OP's situation, the fees are still as I stated above. $355 for I130, $1010 for I485 & supporting. The OP will not need to pay the fee for the I765 because it is being sent concurrently with the I485.

The Fees are still valid til Nov 22, new fees will apply after Nov 22. Please check the USCIS website before you send anything.
