No text or email but check has been cashed! is this normal?

My check is not cashed yet. It is drawn on a small bank here in Washington State. In the documents I think I read the check would be cashed via electronic scan and not returned to the bank. Did the actual check clear your bank?

On K-1 this is how I got my first receipt number.

I spoke too soon. We got an email from USCIS saying that our packet has been received. phew! Maybe a NoA by the end of the week?

Can you check your status online yet my six case numbers will not pull up anything yet?

EAD approved for wife and daughter today 12/16/2010 recieved a text message advising to check online status. Says "On December 16, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days

I would keep checking the USCIS.gov site last night and this morning nothing, now the information is there.

Ours said recieved the 7th so about 24 hours for you perhaps

Courier is supposed to be the safest way to go, so I doubt there is any problem! I bet you'll be getting a text/email any moment now.

We got our text/emails today but nothing available in the case status yet. So nice to see some movement though :)

Hi everyone just wanted to join to share my timeline. I filled for AOS after marring a LPR. I was on a F-1 previously. It is interesting to see how the timing works for USCIS. They assigned me to MSC. Is MSC always designated for AOS?

ok we found out what the problem was...Application was mailed back to us saying we had an out of date form..I checked all the dates and they were current so I'll be checking them again on Monday and mailing Monday evening again!! Sigh!

Good news though I have my EAD in hand!

Good Luck to you should be before the end of the year. On your timeline if you have updated your information it will provide a projected date for EAD
