Here's a question, if you know that something that makes a woman look good is also bad for her health, would you still believe it was something women should do?

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I live in heels, love em. And when I was single, I can't even begin to count the number of men who would comment on my heels. I don't believe this study one bit.

Of course, since pregnancy and the baby, my feet have swollen, so I can't do the 4 inchers anymore, lol...it's been flats for me this whole year. My friends were like 'Good Lord, you're shorter than I thought' :lol:

It was a general question, not specific to heels, although there is significant medical evidence that high heels cause long term problems if worn regularly. Personally, I would not sacrifice health for looks. Wearing heels briefly for an evening out, fine, regularly, no chance.

There are other health issues that are connected to this question though, and I do not think anyone should risk their health in order to (briefly) look better. Of course, people are free to choose to do whatever they like but my choice is to be healthy first.

:thumbs::thumbs: Amen to that!!!

I'm curious how they conducted this study. I'm "weird" like Rob... I sure as hell notice too.

Although, and this is something women should take note of, if you weigh 200+ lbs., don't worry about your shoes. Or make-up. Or anything else, for that matter. We really don't care if it "looks cute" because we don't notice that at all. We may even feel sorry for your shoes. Like the hero of men everywhere and NOMAAM co-founder Al Bundy used to say, "these shoes are like elevators... they have a weight limit."
