What exactly do you mean by "on location?" You can get married pretty much anywhere you want (in the US of course, as a K-1), you just need to find an officiant who is willing to conduct the ceremony and make it legal. I came to the US on a K-1 and my husband and I got married in a small ceremony with family and friends outdoors. We found a very nice officiant who travels all around the state and conducts marriage ceremonies wherever people want them. A quick google search will likely find you someone in your area.

As far as the marriage certificate, you and your fiance(e) need to apply for one after you move to the US. You then give it to the officiant on your wedding day, and he/she, will sign it, along with your signature and the signatures of witnesses (if applicable in your state). You will then either mail it, or hand deliver it to the state recorder.

The signature of an ordained member of clergy residing in the county where the wedding is performed makes the certificate official--as we found out from Oakland County (MI) in 2006, and actually did.

You'll get a marriage license from some government office (google it) in your county. After getting that, yes, bring it to whereever you want to get married.

You'll need someone who is able to legally sign it off like a pastor, priest, minister, rabbi, imam, whatever... and also some officials can do this as well, most notably judges. As long as you can get someone like that to sign off on it, you're done. You'll most likely have to turn it back into the government office where you got it in the first place once it's been filled out, so it's officially on the record.

Yea I mean someone who makes it legal, so they are called officiant and I just have to find one out of the State NY and even better NYC ? How much do they charge ?? are there differences on how the hold the ceremony ? Or they do it after your wishes ?

Check the state (and county) where you want to do the ceremony (basically wheresoever the church/mosque/gurudwara/synagogue/temple is). I can give you the charge for Oakland County, MI only--$35 for the certificate-app.

For religious ceremonies, its often the priest, pastor, imam, rabbi, etc... that will officiate the ceremony and sign your marriage licence. If you are not doing a religious ceremony, often a community justice of the peace or local judge can officiate a ceremony for you. Some places have registries at the local government office. How much they charge will depend on where you are and how and where you want the ceremony, probably anywhere from $50 to a few hundred.

They will generally do what you want, you may have to pay extra to do it an a location of your choosing. If its a religious ceremony, its often done according to that religions customs.

The costs and conditions of a marriage licence vary by state. Some states do have a waiting period and you must fulfill the waiting period before having the ceremony.
