Our NOA1 is dated 7/30/2010.

On our Timeline, under "Processing Estimates/Stat:" it says "Based on time line data your I-129F may be adjudicated between October 31, 2010 and November 25, 2010."

What does "Adjudicated" mean? Is this when the USCIS is processing our paperwork and sending out our NOA2, or is this the process that takes place at the US Embacy in Manilla? (my fiance is in the Philippines).

The adjudication estimate is when it is expected that the USCIS will reach a decision (either to deny or to approve) your petition. This is also known as NOA2 (Notice Of Action 2). It does seem very interesting to me that there is no apparent rhyme or reason to the USCIS approval of petitions; some petitions are approved in less than a month and others take five months or longer! I just hope that my petition is approved quickly It looks like most petitions are approved within 3 months, but again there is no way to know how it will work out for each of us until it happens. Does anybody know if, officially, the beneficiary's country of birth/citizenship has any influence over how quickly (or slowly) the petition is approved?

I'm pretty sure the beneficiary's country does have some sort of influence in the decision time. But mostly just luck I guess......Here's to all the June filers!!!

I filed for a fiancee petition on Feb 16th, 2010. I received a receiving notice on Feb 20th,2010. Normal Processing time for these types of cases at CSC is about 5 months and mine is still in intial review. I am not sure what is going on. I contacted the NCSC and I got a response back stating background checks are not complete yet. I can see online that my case gets touch every week, but nothing is happening. Anyone have the same problem.

I guess they love my packet too much and keep looking at them and don't want to process it, once they process the case the packet will move to NVC...

Mine was touched a week after they received it and hasn't been touched since. It's going on five months now.

Here (http://www.visajourney.com/content/ir1cr1historical) it shows the CSC is woking on petition with a I-130 with NOA1 dated May 8. Is this inaccurate also?

My NOA1 is June 2 so I am hoping to get a NOA2 soon. The wait is killing me!!!!

Though it's not fool-proof, it seems like after your file has sat untouched for a few months and then you see touches, they're usually getting ready to approve it or issue an RFE. You have a lot of touches recently, though, which is kind of odd.

I am not sure how many touches I had with my petition prior to August 18th,2010 because I sign up for the case status update program on August 17th,2010. It is very likely that they could be working on the case as of now. I am sure they will not issue an REF in my case because I had sent them all the required documents to get the approval. Other reason for these touches could be that I have sent so many inquiries to CSC via emails, faxes, post mail, through my state senators and my 18th district congressmen. But All I got one response from CSC that background checks are not complete and my case requires extensive background review and they can not render a decision until that background check is complete. This email was sent to me on August 26th,2010. Since then I have seen about 5 touches.

I don't know what is going on, if anyone have any idea, please share. Thanks

Vermont was on the roll back in July. Some even got approved in less then a month. Mine took 62 days. Looks like they are slowing down a bit, but don't worry everyone sooner or later get their turn. If they didn't misplace my petition after the approval for about 40 days my fiancee would be here already

looking at the time you submitted your petition, if you don't receive a REF (hope not) I think mid/late September is reasonable.

I live in Brooklyn, Sheapshead bay area
