you have a receipt number for a 'service request', or not ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

OMG, this is something very similar to what happened to my friend (I added a post asking about he situation a month ago).

Her file was never touched and se filed in Aug of 2009. She kept calling the 1-800 number and all they said was that it was taking time but that it was usual. She then received an RFE to request for more evidence in Jan, and send back more evidence in that same month. She never got an update or touch on her case. She called a couple of weeks ago to change her address. They did. Then she called again to request a check up or something like that and they filed that under the service name "Outside normal processing times". She then got a letter yesterday saying that her case was denied.

She doesnt know what to do. This is totally outside the processing steps, she never got an interviewed, and have not even informed her officially that her case was denied. What I mean is that this letter she received is not an RFE or some kind like that.

HELP Please..
