Hello everyone!!

I hope everyone's cases are going good and fast!!

I have a question about my mother in law, she recently went to Abu Dhabi and received her visa to come to the US. Does anyone know how much time she has to enter the US from Iran before her visa expires? I know my husband had about 3 or 4 months to enter with his k1 visa. Her visa is not a tourist visa, but to come and then get her green card. Does anyone know how much time she has?? Thanks!

The validity of the visa is on the visa itself (the date its good for).

What is that date?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

It is usually 6 months, but can be less, especially if the medical was done some time ago. The visa page in her passport should have an expiry date on it.
