If you can safely meet the 125% of poverty guideline (and are still employed) you only need the most recent tax return. If your ability to show support is shaky, then you need to show some liquid assets to back up your ability to show support (or obtain a co-sponsor).

I would suggest that you review you paperwork again and again to be sure everything is consistent and accurate. Have someone else review all the forms as well - sometimes a "fresh" set of eyes will spot mistakes that you have glossed over.

Also, the I-485 instructions tell you where to send your packet to (depending on your particular status, so read them carefully), but for most AOS filers, the initial packet should go to the Chicago office, but there is a good chance it will be transferred from there later.

Good luck!

What's the best address to use? I'm just going to go to the post office near by. Do I use the PO Box or the South Dearborn - 3rd Floor address.

I just want to know in case I need to change the address I have listed on my cover letters.

Any help would be awesome!

Is it sufficient to provide only one photocopy (I-94, passport, visa, NOA, birth certificate...) for the whole package? or is it necessary to attach a copy each time it is requested by a form ?

thank you

Ben
