K1's in London use the I-134, the I-864 will be used at the AOS. You will need an ORIGINAL of this (at the interview, do NOT send it with the other forms for P3) along with a copy of your 2009 tax return (with W-2's), a letter from your employer and current pay stubs. They COULD ask for bank stmts and a letter from your bank stating your account balance and deposits/withdrawals for the past year, but that's usually not necessary (I included them just to be safe). If you need a co-sponsor (London allows them) make sure you have them fill out their own form, and include all of the same documentation, as well as a copy (front/back) of their birth certificate or info page of their passport if they have one, to prove US Citizenship.

He only needs the DS-157 IF the family member (child) is coming with him or following him within a year.

Yes, you will need 2 originals and a copy. Send one set of originals for Packet 3. Bring the rest of them to the interview.

If the DOS tells him it's been sent but he's not received it, he can get the LND (not LON anymore) and send in the forms requesting a new copy. He can also ASK Knightsbridge if they'll allow him to attend the medical without it under the circumstances. It's been done before.

My phone double posted. Can someone ask a mod to fix it?

I just wanted to let people know that unfortunately, moderators don't have the ability to edit within a posted post. We can act on the whole post but we can't act on just part of a post. If we could delete the doubled comment we would, but we can't. I'm sorry :(

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

These forms are SO confusing! I had no trouble filling out the I-129F forms, but the P3 forms leave alot of room for interpretation!

We're working on the DS 230 Part 1, and it is asking for the "Spouses" Name and Bio information. Does that mean ME? We're not married, so I don't know how to complete this!

Also on another note, while filing my I 129F, I used my sisters mailing address (she is down the street from me currently) while I was in between selling my house and moving to an apartment so that I had a stable address to receive notifications (I also didn't KNOW what my new address would be!)

I have since moved into an apartment, but since I receivd all of my USCIS/NVC notifications already, I didn't change the address.

While filling out the P3 forms, it is now asking for the address where he will be living. Should I fill in my NEW address now?? Or just leave it the same as all of my other paperwork and change it once we apply for AOS??? I just don't want anything to raise a flag that might delay the process further!!!

Anyone have any advice ont hese things??? Can't WAIT to have this done with!!!! :(

NayNay

Keep in mind the DS230 is used for all types of Visa Applications, So for Spouse, you would put not married or not applicable...

It is there for other Visa Applicants who may be married...

Also, the DS230 is to be completed by the beneficiary, not by the petitioner, you can however, help your fiancee as I did, by filling in the forms for them, but make sure you understand you are filling it for the beneficiary..

Hey ! Good on ya, for contacting DOS - see? Helpful ! Ya found out something that wasn't so 'viewable' otherwise.

IMO, download the forms ya need, make a 'reply back' to London IV unit (checklist, forms, etc)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

1. He doesn't have a spouse, so you would put N/A. These forms are used for many different types of visas, not just K1's.

2. Put the address WHERE HE WILL BE LIVING. Wherever that is, it doesn't have to be the same address that you gave previously. They realize that people move. It won't be a red flag.

Emailing the embassy is pretty painless - they're quick and efficient with replies, but you will need to call the extortion line first to receive the weekly emailing code. In fact, if you're calling the extortion line you may just be able to request your replacement packet over the phone (but a follow-up email might be a good idea).

This is the info from the embassy website:

'Operator Assisted Visa Information

For Operator Assisted Visa Information call 09042-450100 (this is NOT a London number. It does not require any other prefix or dialling code.)

Service available Monday through Friday, 8.00 a.m. until 9.00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 09.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.; £1.20/min; only available in the U.K., within U.K. may be unavailable from some business telephones and mobile networks.'

Your question about the address: the current address for the fiance is the address that is supplied to London. All further correspondence will be going to the fiance as beneficiary and not the petitioner. It could be confusing to be filling in the paperwork for the beneficiary so it's usually easier if they do it :)
