YAY, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Our story sounds just about the same as yours, down to the fingerprints! Except he apparently was given an out of date payment form for the interview that the bank wouldn't take, so in the end the embassy let him pay for it there. Lots of stress around that, but I'm very glad they let him pay after all.

The only bad thing was that I got the news around 5 am my time, so in dancing around my room I think I woke the building manager downstairs... oops. Ah well, she can deal! :D

Congratulations again and best of luck to you both!!!!

BRAVO!!!! Congratz on making it through the interview! It doesn't show on your timeline that you had to go through the IMBRA fiasco, with the RFE and such. Am I reading that right? Boy are you lucky! My NOA 1 was earlier than yours and I'm still sitting here twiddling my thumbs due to the freakin IMBRA nightmare.

No, fortunately I escaped the IMBRA - just!! I thought it depended on the date that your application was received at the embassy, (not NOA1) mine got there before 6th March. Mind you it looks like your did as well..... sorry it got you!!!

Good luck to you though - hope you get some good news soon!!! :-)

And thanks to you all for your congrats :-) Now the stress has worn off the happiness is sinking in. I got a text from the couriers to say they will be delivering my passport to me as well... so it all worked out in the end for leaving on monday!!

:dance::dance: Woooo hoooo Congratulations!!!! Feels awesome doesn't it?

Your birthday must be just after mine, mines tomorrow.

So glad to see others experiences were anti climatic too. Tim referred to the gal interviewing him as 20 something, she never smiled, and never even told him if he was approved or not. He said she made the comment "you should have it in the post on Mon or Tues.", so he had to ask if he was approved. I have read for years how nice everyone at London was, just wasn't the case for him. Suppose much stress with all that was going on last week.

That's excellent, Globetrotter! Congrats!!!!! :dance::dance:

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!
