We have.... scratch that.. HAD 3 plants that we moved from the old apt to the new. She placed them all out on balcony to get plenty o sunshine.. only... these plants thrive in low light situations. Needless to say... dead as a door knob! and yellowed thru n thru. I tried to revive them... i really really did... but I cant. So tomorrow... I have to replace some plants.

Yes, indoorsy ones too... but she just has a black thumb with plants. :(

Your wife might be friends with my sister. I gave my sister a little cactus one year. She killed it. She claims that she planted it in the terrarium and that another plant ate it. So I gave her an air fern. That somehow died too. I don't know how. Her chili peppers are doing remarkably well though.

I empathise with your wife Miror.....I can kill pumkpin vines in the blink of an eye and thats no easy feat :( I was responsible for the death of a kitty cat too that was left in my care when the owners went on vacation. Not my fault it ran under a moving car :( Their dog died too :(

What kind of plant is it? I mean.. If you can cut the dead part of.. eventhough most of it.. and keep it inthe right place.. it'll come back.. all my plant came back alive and well after the cold frosting night (Bram said it's dead) but I cut the dead part of and wait.. now it's just alive and well..

Some kind of flower also.. I put it at the front with full sun.. yellow and look dead.. cut almost to the stem.. it came back to life in like 1-2 weeks.. well.. I did it and it worked for me anyway :D

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

I agree! Chilis rock. My dad is growing cherry, thai, japanese (a long skinny red one), and serrano chilis, and I think might have scotch bonnets growing. Yum.

My fiance and I have some plants that we call our kids since the neighborhood cats all ran away. Not quite sure what they are because we dried all the seeds from the various chilis we have consumed, mixed them all in a pot and then planted some of them. Could be fun.

I know how it feels I killed 2 little bonsai...and i had the guide on how to take care of them! I even went to the plant nursery and the guy who was working there said :"Look what you did! You killed it!" Like I was some kind of unresponsible parent!!!He really made me feel guilty :(:P

I also have no green thumb...my suggestion is some very pretty artificail ones that only needed to be dusted, they have nice ones that look almost real and they never need water or sun.

Good luck with the plants

Michele
