Hi! I'm a visajourney newbie. My husband is from Canada and I am an American Citizen. We just recently got married in North Carolina. We're getting ready to file the I-130 and the I-485. On the I-130, it said to send the form to the USCIS Center in Texas because we live in North Carolina, but then when I started looking at the I-485 I realized it doesn't say where to send it. Does anyone who has done this before know where I should I send it? I have heard some people say that if you don't now where to send a form, just send it to the Chicago lockbox, but I'm afraid that if that's the wrong place to send it, it will mess up how long the whole process is supposed to take. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated : )

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a visa other than a K1, K2, K3 & K4 which the prior forum is for**
