Hello everyone, Need some advise. I am from Pakistan. Priority date is June 2007.

My sister filed for me in 2007. Her date of birth is September 1966 and mine is December 1968. Do i need to get Birth Certificates for both of us from NADRA and same would be acceptable?

November 05,2001 : I-130 NOA 1.

November 23,2009 : I-130 NOA 2(Approval Notice).

December 01,2009 :Case Shipped to Department of State.

NVC

September 09,2010 : Email sent to NVC regarding CSPA.

September 13,2010 : Priority Date Current.

September 18,2010 : Successfully E-mailed DS-3032.

September 22,2010 : AOS Invoiced(Online Payment Portal).

September 23,2010 : AOS Fee Paid.

September 24,2010 : NVC sends Email that case is being processed under CSPA Act of 2000.

September 28,2010 : NVC Receives DS-3032(E-mail received from NVC).

September 28,2010 : IV Invoiced(Online Payment Portal).

September 30,2010 : IV Fee Paid.

October 28, 2010 : AOS Packet Sent.

October 29, 2010 : AOS Packet delivered at PORTSMOUTH, NH.

November 16,2010 : AVRS says I-864 received.

November 16,2010 : DS-230 Packet Sent.

November 17,2010 : DS-230 delivered at PORTSMOUTH, NH.

December 06,2010 : AVRS says DS-230 received.

December 11,2010 : AVRS says documents missing, NVC has mailed a letter on Dec. 10.

December 18,2010 : Missing Affidavits Sent.

December 19,2010 : Checklist Cover Letter Received from NVC.

December 21,2010 : Corrected Affidavits Sent.

December 25,2010 : Merry X-Mas. AVRS says checklist response received on Dec.23; need 4-6 weeks for review.

January 12,2010 : Happy NEW YEAR. AVRS says CASE COMPLETED :)

January 25,2010 : Sign in Failed 2300 HRS IST :)

Will have to go through through old documents if available. Just curious, in case donot find certificates, Affidavit from mother will work? Mother is already a US Citizen petitioned by same sister.

check this out ,the following note is on Ankara US consulate website which is processing Iranian and Turkish visas, is this same for other nations like Indians, Pakistanies, ets....??

here is my interview experience (at islamabad embassy pakistan)

at 6:00 am we paid 200/ per person for the shuttle sevice and at round about at 7:00 am we sat on the shuttle and went to the USA embessy we sat in the shuttle till 7:45 am (we were in the second shuttle) then we got the token and we got he second number then we waited for our turn to give the finger prints and photographs then the officer said that you go to the waiting room and wait until your turn after half hour our turn came at the counter where we submmited the AOS and signed the army form and marriage form and again the officer said you will be called now for the interview in which language would you like to give interview we said urdu and the we waited for our turn after few minutes we got the call for our number and the conversation started as below:

CO: good morning

my father:good morning

CO: who is calling you to USA

my father: my elder brother

CO: how many years he's been living in USA.

my father : more than 30 years.

CO: wow! how is his expirence living in USA

my father: He is very happy that is why he is calling us to USA

CO: how do you contact him

my father: through telephone landline we showed them bill detail.

CO: do you have his photographs with you.

my father: showed the album which we took with us

CO:so what does he do

here i replied that he is business man and running a tyre shop

we said that our another chcha and phopho(both of them are US nationals) and grandma is green card holder we showed the green card of grandma

CO: she returned us the orignal document to us and said i am going to issue your visas and you will get your passports within 7 to 10 days (CONGRAGULATIONS).

we said thank you ALLAH HAFIZ she also said ALLAH HAFIZ and waved her hand to us

in the nut shell the interview was very smooth and easy and the CO was talking to us with a smiling face

we thanked GOD and came home

My P.O.E Port of entry is close.

you can't carry more than 10 thousand US dollar to USA. Pakistan custom rules not allow to carry more than 10 thousand per passport.

Bank drafts , traveller cheques aren't included in 10 thousand.

you can carry bank draft of any amount to USA.
