Did everyone receive a notice from NVC

Just thought of something, I never received any notice from the NVC. Once I got the NOA2, I know that USCIS will sent my files to the NVC which then sends them to the local consulate (which is China in my case). Before I thought of contacting the NVC to inquire about the progress, my fiancee received the packet 3 from the consulate. And we went on from there. So I never got any paperwork from the NVC. But from reading people's timeline here, it seems you all receive some notification/paper from the NVC. So I'm wondering what did I miss. Is it something important, something I should have? Will I need it in the future, e.g. for AOS, green card interview, etc?

nothing you would have received from NVC is needed later on in the process....

I never got anything from them, and was told I would once my case was forwarded to the embassy and I still have not received anything.

the only useful thing is the GUZ #, in that notice -

I talked with the NVC and go the KEV number and 3 days later received a notice in the mail.

Glad that it's nothing I need to worry about. That's one less thing off my mind. Thanks all for answering so quickly. It's strange that some people get notice and some don't from NVC...

Called NVC after receiving NOA 2, and was told the case number and that I'd receive a letter. Still waiting for that letter.
