No but I remember in '91 when that song wasn't catchy or cool... it was something that still wasn't accepted in mainstream America.

Oh how times have changed in 20 years.

Yep, 20 years ago, I didn't have rugrats who thought hamsters were funny

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

everyone tried calling her but it would go to voice-mail... she finally called my husband's aunt back and said she was at a friend's house with her kids outside by the pool and she had left her purse with the phone inside :P

This reminds me of a conversation I had not long ago with a near-retirement crank at work. He wants to retire somewhere but doesn't know where, so I suggested South Florida because he said he's sick of the cold and likes the east coast. His response - no, I'd like to retire in Amurka.

So I'm not sure Miami counts. Heck, there's talk my employer might switch Latin-America Zone HQ from Sao Paulo to Miami!

Miami deffo has changed, and there are parts of it which seem like you'd need a passport to go to, but at the same time, nothin beats the nightlife, culture, etc. Nothing I miss more than hanging out on SoBe on a morning with a coffee while laughing at the tourists. Or Salsa dancing on Tuesdays. Or any of the plethora of nightclubs.

Suggest Ft Laud or Boca to your man, there are so many NYers, it's like another borough up there. My parents lived there. He'll fit right in.

He won't "fit in" anywhere. He's a bit odd.

late lunch - plain yogurt with strawberries blended then added sliced banana and some whole grains and flaxseeds on top... very good!

3 more hours of work left.
