Me too...only 4 circles. I wish we could get someone who hasn't went to their biometrics appointment yet to check it out. I hope they won't be doing RFE because I really can't handle the stress being 30 weeks pregnant and all  It would be great if there was someone in there who is a speed demon, doesn't like to bother with RFE and interviews, and just issues approvals

Well I think this is just a change in USCIS web site because I haven't had my Biometric yet and I also have the 4 circles.

So nothing extraordinary to be worried about.

Listed above are the possible steps an application or petition may go through during processing. Not every application or petition will spend time in each of these steps. Once you enter your receipt number you will see the steps that will always be required for that particular application or petition. The step in the process where your case is currently located will be highlighted. Other steps will appear if your case requires that particular step.

This is what it says in the blue box on the "check my status" (under the dots :P) on the USCIS website.. I guess it really might be a change of the "view".. :( Or??

Hi there,

Actually I sent them an email requesting my Bio notice 2 days ago, and yesterday I got an email from them with a copy of my Bio letter attached to it. In the mail they also told me that they sent me the Bio letter to my address and i should receive it this week. I was waiting for this Bio letter 74 days since that my NOA date receipt is 05/12/2010. I did call them 3 times the last 70 days and sent them 2 emails and just the last one worked.

Good luck.

Because I got my ICR89 case number over the phone when I first call to CS (6 weeks ago) to place a SR for my Bio letter. An IO gave it to me. USCIS also sent me a copy of my actual BIO notice yesterday attached to an email. So, waiting for the hard copy to have this step done. That is why I have my number. so the circles may mean many different things depending in what step of the process we are in. I still think that it is due to a changes in USCIS web site. Just normal.

Wow! That's awesome...congrats!

Please tell me, does your status still say "initial review" or has the blue come up in another circle now since you've gotten your approval? Also, did your "card production" circle appear or is the last one still "post decision activity".

The chart still shows up with only the 4 circles. Now none of the circles are filled in, and the last one still says, "post decision activity". Underneath the circles it says: On July 28, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm still not sure why they changed the format, but maybe at the very least it means they are working on these cases...whether it is for approvals or for biometrics appointments or something else. Once again, I hope that things start moving for everyone now. :) :) :)
