My wife (via K-1) and I are about to receive our marriage certificate this week and we are getting the Adjustment of Status documents ready.

I was wondering if I can reuse the Affidavit of Support supporting documentation that I originally sent to her for her visa interview? (Letter from employer, bank statements, etc.) All of these documents were generated in April of this year.

My second question, and I think I know the answer but just want to be sure is, do I need a separate AOS submission, with all corresponding forms and physicals for my wife’s 4 year old child?

Thank you

Your documents are already several months old. You should probably try to obtain recent documents, if possible.

Yes, you will need to submit a separate AOS application for the daughter. You can probably skip the EAD application, but most of the rest of the forms will be required. There are some minor exceptions. For example, you don't need to submit supporting evidence for the daughter's I-864 if her AOS application is filed concurrently with her mother's (this is covered in the I-864 instructions). Also, the fee for the daughter is only $600 if filed concurrently with her mother's. Read the guides and the form instructions carefully.

A letter from employer and bank statements aren't evidence for the I-864... you CAN send those in if you like but they aren't necessary.

Tax documents are necessary and THOSE can be re-used... you will need your 2009 tax return/IRS tax transcript though

You can TRY and send the letter and bank statements in, but I doubt they'll accept it and I personally wouldn't risk the RFE when getting new documents is pretty easy. Not only are they a couple of months old now, but a lot can change in a short time... USCIS might think you've quit your job or something and THATS why you weren't able to get a new letter... not worth the risk in my opinion.
