My Finace has an interview in less that 2 weeks @ Lagos embassy and I am not sure how much the visa fee is. Can someone that just went through the interview help me with this? I need to know the right amount for K1 visa fee..... Thanks!

There was an update to the fees eff jul. 13, 2010. For your visia category K, it is $350.00. see the link below.

Thanks! This is crazy, from $131 to $350? Wow!!! Pls someone also mentioned something about $50 for security fees, is that included in the new fee?

Good thing I read this entry. I thought the fee was $455. I wrote a check for $455 because I am planning to send the package this week. I guess I need to re-write the check for $350? hey, nothing wrong with saving $105

The fee is $455 to send the I-129F package. The $350 that is being discussed in this thread is what needs to be paid the date of the interview to get issued the Visa.

The 350 has to be paid prior to the interview date. Be sure to take your receipt the day of the interview as proof of payment

My fiancee had her interview 4 days ago. She paid $350 at the interview. You can choose to pay before the interview day or pay on the day of the interview just before you are attended to. Either way is acceptable, but check their site for an updated info as things change all the time, or send them an email with all inquiries at LagosIV@state.gov, they usually reply within 2 business days.
