So, how is the Speed of Vermont CS now?

Not sure how fast it is for K-1, but I recently filed for i-102 and it was approved super fast!

Took less than a month from filing to getting the approval in the mail, eventhough their "current processing time" for that type of application is 3 months.

I don't know if that means they are currently processing everything else as fast though..

I don't think they are too fast right now, it took them 10 days to get our check cashed and we just got our NOA1 today, that process usually takes just 2 to 4 days as i seen on another time lines over here...so idk...hope they go faster from now on...i heard July is the busiest month

God bless

Our K-1 Visa application was entered on 4-12-2010. Other than being in the initial review stage, nothing has changed since the initial touch. No RFE, not any communication or updates in any way. We are like many others that just sit and wait until someone decides it is our turn.

Hopefully we will hear something soon, I wish it would be this week.

Our Petition was approved in 44 days. Dunno if that is fast or not.

EDIT: 14 days if we count the fact that there was a bank error and they only processed payment on July 9. Originally sent in paperwork and got NOA1 on June 8. It really depends on how you look it at it. I say it was 44 days because that's when i actually started.

ok there seems to be something not right in Vermont.

Why is it that my case was mailed on April 21 and people that applied in June already got their NOA2's. Sorry to say this but I find it a bit unfair. It should go in order.

Greencard Holder since 1991

August 2006: Approved for Dual Citizenship from the German Consulate

I am officially now a Dual Citizen :)))

07.06.09 sent I-129F to Vermont Service Center for Mr Brazil

03.11.10 case cent back to VSC

Second Round:

04.19.10 Sent new petition to Vermont Service Center

04.21.10 NOA1

04.23.10 check cashed

07.16.10 touched

10.XX.10: Decide to split with my fiance and set in a withdraw letter to VSC

10.25.10: NOA2 - to my surprise but it does not matter anymore

11.18.10: Withdraw of my petition is final - The End of my Immigration Journey :)
