I really don't understand what is so difficult about the original statement when it was stipulated with the statement that beauty and physical attraction is subjective. Which of course it is.

And I'm sorry, but there are far too many crazy people on the internet to post a photo, especially without the other party's permission. I once used my real name in this forum and it wound up having real life complications because of some pissing match here. No we weren't, actually. This all came about because someone said when their wife gets older she'll be 300 lbs and have 80,000 in credit card debt. I responded with "I married a Russian" which implied my wife would be neither. When someone else on the forum (you) said Russian immigrants and their offspring can get fat Gary replied with photographic evidence of his wife being "old" but not fat and not having any credit card debt.

You refuted that with claims of your wife being "a lot more" attractive than his. I'd say if anyone was bragging... it would be you. Gary didn't make a comparitive claim about his wife's attractiveness, he simply posted a pic so everyone could see she wasn't 300 pounds. You took it to the next level by bragging that your wife was "a lot more" attractive than his.

That's what bragging is. Making comparative claims. Saying something is "better" than something else. Gary didn't do that. You did.

No, YOU took it as an objective comparison. I can say "I find my pet goat more attractive than yours" and I don't have to give pictures to prove it. It's not a factual statement, it's a preference. He's seen both, so he can give his own judgement. What you're upset about is that he didn't give YOU the chance to judge.
