For question #7 on the affidavit of support is it okay for me to just inlcude my earnings from last year, since it is sufficient, and have the evidence to support it, and leave the rest of the questions blank? I noticed thats how the example form was on VJ. Also, can I include my car value on personal property? Thanks guys

My honey and I were approved a couple of days ago and I only used my income..

not sure if that means just because mine worked that you should do just your income

If your income is enough to qualify there is no need to include any information on bank accounts or any other assets at all.

Just leave the rest blank.

So it is okay to leave it blank or put N/A? I thought about just throwing my car value under personal property but I made over $26,000 last year, so that should be sufficient with a tax return, W2 and employment letter, HOPEFULLLY!

I made over 26,000 last year and was wondering if i should include my car, which i own, under personal property just to help out a little bit. I also have a few thousand in my bank, but dont want to include that if i dont have to. I just want to know from a few more people that just filling out the income part of the I-134 along with a tax return and employment letter will be sufficient. Thank you

Unless you have specific information to the contrary, you should presume the consulate will be applying the I-864 standards when evaluating your I-134. If you qualify on income alone then there is no reason to list anything else. Leave the other items blank. Writing $0 or "N/A" implies that you don't have something (savings, for example), while leaving it blank means you're simply not declaring it.

If you declare assets then you must include proof that you own them, and proof of their value. The I-864 rule for assets is that they must be something you could convert to cash within a year without undue hardship or financial loss. The I-864 rules specifically disallow listing your only car, since that would make you a pedestrian - an undue hardship. Listing assets complicates things, so you shouldn't do it if you don't need to.

Some consulates (like London) specifically require you to check "Intend" on question 11. Most will accept the affidavit regardless of which box you check. The question is only indirectly applicable to a K1 sponsor. Some people check "Do not intend" and write in "N/A. K1 visa application".
