Long distance relationships.....I would say we have a group of experts on this topic here! I am so grateful for the internet....How about sharing some of your favorite activities with your SO online. Since I started this thread, I will go first. :star:

We play billiards on MSN pretty frequently.

Shopping for furniture

Shopping for a car

He has found TOOOOOOOOOOOONS of music to send me. Zizi knows my soft spots.

Funny video clips

Oh, here's one you have to try. We watched Mr. Bean videos online and started them at the same time so we could laugh together. (Sorry, don't know what the website was.)

Love those cameras! :P Hehe

Studying up on medicines, how to improve our use of computers, etc.

Now it's your turn....

I feel so lucky to have a guy with so much imagination, ingenuity and creativity. He made me this really cool screensaver with some of our favorite music (Gypsy Kings) and photos of both of us and some of the love notes his written me in his very cute broken english.

Now, it really is your turn.....

Skype for phone calls. We used to play and surf together using yahoo messenger, but now we just talk endlessly about everything or he brings his guitar and sings for me. Neither of us can stand to stare at a chat window anymore. Honestly we are both so sick and burned out from staring at a computer screen instead of each other that we have moved to the phone. The cost seems worth it. Now he can share with my activities: cooking, laundry, cleaning, playing with the kids, etc. instead of me sitting on my sofa.

mostly we just talk and look at each other, we show each other stuff we got (like NOA1 & 2 papers :P ). sometimes when friends come by he chats w/ them too - to meet my friends here. i aim the cam at the dogs and we watch them play... yesterday was the first time i brought the new laptop into the bathroom and he watched me put on my makeup for work last nite - that was kinda fun. altho, i guess many others spend hours on end w/ each other online... Said and I don't have that kind of time, usually an hour or so, sometimes less. Often he watches me eat lunch while we chat (cuz it's my lunch break at work) and for the 1st time yesterday, i got to watch him eat dinner cuz he finally got his computer hooked up at home  .

maybe we're the boring couple.... i just want him here so i can feel his arms around me again and lay my head on his chest while we watch movies or just fall asleep. it's the little things that make me happy.....

hmmmmm, I was thinking the same thing, Jackie. I wonder if its the caffine buzz??? or should I say, lack thereof.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

We have become ebay junkies! He bids, and I get mad.... Just kidding. He sent me this jacket that his sis gave him and we actually sold it on ebay. I have sold some gaming systems and a few odds and ends. I have purchase several items that I am taking with me for gifts for his friends and family.

All I can say is that I am grateful to have these webcams. I honeslty don't think I could have made it this long without it.

Asside from the obvious chatting with the webcam, arious yahoo games, but mainly pool. We had a loooooong long distance relationship (4 years) so we played a lot of pool.

The best was when I went to visit egypt and we went to an internet cafe so I could email my family. We played yahoo pool sitting right next to each other and trying hard not to laugh. Everyone thought we were insane

Jackie

Hahahah!! Pervert

We also played Yahoo games but I'd always beat her at pool so she didn't like that and she'd beat me at the word games so now we just talk.

I suggest Skype. Its free!! Woo hoo... that's the best part. You can talk to each other just like a phone call for nothing. The new version of Yahoo Messenger does it also but Skype is the original and I like the quality of the call better... plus the webcam works better on Skype. Almost every night I fall asleep talking to her.

Go through YouTube or simular sites and exchange links... then start them at the same time while talking on Skype and laugh together.

Webcams are always benificial... 'nuff said

Search for plane tickets for her flight here... gives you something to look forward to
