So my honey went and picked up her medical results yesterday and her x-rays as well as everything else are all sealed into one packet which she is not allowed to open. We both think that we shouldn't be bringing the x-rays to the interview unless there is something wrong??

can anyone shed light on why they would have done this??

thanks

no, results of the x-ray are included in the medical report... the consulate has no qualified medical personnel to even read an x-ray onsite.

YMMV

and that is what concerns us...

the results packet is sealed inside the x-ray packet and she had asked the lady who gave it to her if she could open it and she said no.

maybe just a mistake??

The silly xray gets taken all over. You take it to the embassy and they add it all to the package that you bring to the US. Maybe they want to make sure new immigrants stick out in the lines with the big brown envelope.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

don't worry about it.... I thought in PI the x-ray was provided on a CD.... this is much ado about nothing

I don't think there's anything wrong. Normally, St Lukes will send the beneficiary's medical results and passport directly to the Embassy.

However, if the interview is only a few days (or less) after the medical, St. Lukes will allow the beneficiary to take their medical results and their passport to the interview. It looks like this is what's happening in your case. Apparently, St. Lukes felt that they could not deliver her medical results and her passport to the Embassy before her July 20th interview.

Did St. Lukes return her passport to her?

If she lives and works in Malaysia your Country flag on your timelines should be changed so it's not so confusing, Post your questions in the Malaysia portalfor a better answer

Her experience is probably standard operating procedure in Malaysia. One way or another, the Embassy needs her medical results (including her x-ray). If the Embassy in Malaysia is anything like the Manila Embassy, her x-ray will be included in her visa packet.
