The worst thing that VJ members have been doing is getting desperate and stressed out. Remember patience is a virtue. I suggest you relax and wait to get the actual letter. Once you receive it, they might be asking evidence or they might be requesting that you go do biometrics. Just hold on tight and act calmly if everything is straight you will be ok

I just don’t get what kind of evidence they will need... I send a copy of my green card (front and back) the money, the two pictures.... the application of course! wow.... this is stressful... I do understand that is the worst think I can do, but i do have a bad experience with USCIS, anyone who lived through TEXAS LOSSERS era will understand me... Back in 2008 when not only me, but everyone else applied to remove conditions on the green card we waited more than 1 year to get results, we were transfer from Texas to Vermont and we waited for a longgggggggggg year... I wouldn’t want this to happen again specially with the N400 which should be easy and fast.

RFE for naturalization is biometrics.

If they need anything else, they will ask you to bring it on the day of your interview and not mail it in.

V333K is 100% correct. What you received is normal procedure, albeit really weird in a USCIS kind of way. It refers indeed to the biometrics which is the "evidence" they need. Nothing to worry about, just ignore the letter.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

President Teddy Roosevelt on Columbus Day 1915
