We were touched twice in two days and I am terrified that we may get an RFE. I think it's because of the two touches in two days. I mean if we get one, we will work on it but the thought of more delays is killing me.

No! Think positive! The first touch was them picking up the file to do the background check, the second one was them putting it in the mail. We're going to receive our NOA2s at the same time, and continue forward in tandem.

Don't doubt me, biotch!

That is good to hear, as we've got the same timeline. Got to keep our eyes on the mailbox! Touches are nice, but the NOA2... Let's just say that when it arrives, I may burst my own eardrums.

Hey! Yes, but it's not as bad as it was. Haha I'm eating granola bars and watching bad TV.

It's so strange that 5 people were approved on Nov. 19th and their case status was updated online, yet so many of us were touched but no electronic update. I really hope that touch was an approval.

Naturalization Process (FINALLY!)

05.29.14 - N-400 filed

06.02.14 - Packet received at the Lewisville Texas Center

06.05.14 - Check cleared

06.04.14 - NOA date

06.13.14 - Biometrics letter received

07.02.14 - Biometrics appointment

07.07.14 - In line

07.17.14 - 'Yellow Paper' date

09.10.14 - Interview scheduled NOA date

10.15.14 - Interview date

I bet it was your approval! We probably had the same adjudicator who didn't update it online. I checked my case status a while ago just for kicks, and it still says initial review! I bet you will be receiving it soon! I think it took about 4 or 5 days from what we thought was the last touch for my fiance to receive it. And, he actually got it on a Saturday but didn't check the mail until late Sunday night... so it was the day before.

You should be getting it soon!

haha I ran out of granola bars earlier this week and haven't gotten groceries yet :(

I know, without you folks keeping my spirits up, I'd be eating the curtains by now! But I have a good feeling about these touches. It's got to arrive next week. Just think, our NOA2s could be lying in a post office somewhere right now, or rumbling around in the back of a van on their way from California to our states... Ooooh please please please! A new week starts soon!

I feel like announcing to America that I'm not going back to Canada until the NOA2 is in my hands. It better be tomorrow because I just realized I forgot to feed my cat before I left (thank god my dad's home, haha).
