We got approved today. I am so happy, but nervous because I will be entering the biggest commitment in my life and I feel like its worth it. Although we are climbing up in age, but we act like two teenagers hopelessly in love. I am glad this site is here. Thanks Matt about the birth certificate thing. I am considering whether or not to go and apply for copies while he is still here waiting on his visa or request for USCIS to return all the original documents, but the biggest question is will it include his birth certificate. RGD is a joke. Up until yesterday evening we had to track down his non-impediment to marriage certificate. I will check there website just in to see what the fees are. Thanks everyone for your help and support!!! Mi luv unno!!!

Congrats!!!!! You are not kidding about RGD. We had to get the no impediment paper the morning of the interview. It made us an hour late for our interview, but all ended well. What a hot mess though.

I know joining lives with another is scary, but believe me it is sooo worth it. Best of luck!!
