CAPE TOWN - Australia, considered the U.S.'s biggest opposition in the race to secure the 2022 World Cup, is under investigation by FIFA on whether it broke ethics rules by offering illegal gifts and other inducements.

USA is bidding for both 2018's and 2022's world cup. One of them should come to North America and one should go to Australia. These are the next deserving stages. I don't know why FIFA dropped their policy of rotating the finals around the 6 continents.

Because it's a retarded policy? Not all the continents are equal, not in size, not in population, not in the overall fan base (or fervor).
