Looks like you do not need a visa since you have a green card. Check the exemptions section.

No you do not need a visa. When my husband got his greencard we went there. We handed them his passport and greencard and they handed back his passport and said his greencard is all they needed. But just to be safe take the passport with you just incase. You know how everyone has their own way of doing things.

No. You are not a US citizen so you cannot have a US passport. You are a Philippines' citizen who is a permanent resident in the US so you would still use a Philippines' passport. Canada grants all Permanent Residents in the US the same rights of entry to Canada as they do for US citizens, so while you would have needed a visa to enter Canada before you got your green card, now that you do, you don't need a visa - just the green card. For your own well-being, however, you should bring your Philippines passport. You will need a passport if you are travelling by air regardless. Your green card is sufficient permission to enter Canada for a visit, but it is always a good idea to carry your passport whenever you are out of the country.

Enjoy your visit to Canada. Where are you going in Canada?
