I'm trying to prepare all the forms to send for my AOS and reading form G-325A I see an uncelar (to me) question:

"Applicant's residence last five years". What do they mean by that? Official residence = formal abode or place where one has lived, regardless whether or not it was his official residence?

Comparing it with for D-230 that I had to fill in for the K1 visa I see that it is different, because there it clearly asks to list all places where I have lived.

I don't want to give wrong information (although surely not knowingly or willfully), but I also don't want to write inconsistent statements.

Do you have a copy of the G325A that was submitted with the original I129F petition.

I suspect that since that time the only address change has been you moving from your country of origin to your current location in the US.

If that is the case, I would complete it the same, except with your most recent address being your current one.

I agree with Bernie. It should look identical to the G-325A submitted for the fiance petition. The exceptions would be:

top line of address will be the new USA address

top line of employment will now be unemployed

a female will have a new last name (married name) and a former name (maiden name)

Thank you! why does my fiancee never listen to me? Before she sent everything for the petition I expressly asked her to make copies of the documents. Do you think she did?

USCIS update:

I called them today and they told me to not worry about the address, the important thing is to fill out the form completely. If there are any discrepancies USCIS will request more information but it will not hurt our case.

Basically they will just send me an RFE but I won't be deported :)
