Now that I have received my 3 NOA1s.It is time I start putting things together for the interview in near time. These are what we are putting together for the interview.

Joint bank account,

Joint phone bills,

Notarized Affidavit from friend of living together.

letters address to both of us or to the same address.

wedding photos and photos before marriage.

Her US passport and driver license name change to married name.

My learner permit driver license card with the same address.

Joint or family LA LITNESS bill .

Hotel receipt for our honeymoon.

A trip together to North Carolina in July to see her parent again(That would proof plane ticket and photo taken).

My wife doesnt have much money for good health insurance and went for the state health insurance which can be only one person. She said it can only one person.Though I have my own health insurance from my university. Will this be ok without joint health insurance??

Also the car insurance.I am learning how to drive,I just got my learning permit somedays back with our home address on it.Now her car insurance is only hers and putting me without me driving any car will just be paying money for noting. And I dont think I will be able to have my real driver license before the interview.WIll this be ok if we tell the IO that I am still learning on how to drive.

Also my wife has her own house she is paying for and that is where we stay including her children. The house is hers and she pays the morgage fees every month.Right now I am a graduate student,no work for now.We called the morgage company and to add my name and they said the payment has not been met and beside I dont have a SSN.So we have decided to go without joint house ownership.

Will I be ok with the evidence shown above. Please your contributions will be highly welcome.

Very good evidence. Only thing I'd say is that I am in the same situation with no SSN but what I do is I pay our light bill online using my bank account so you could do the same and submit that as evidence and your contribution... I know you're not working but you could transfer/use the joint accounts to pay a few bills. Also, we got checks for our joint account so if we want, could bring them to our interview as additional evidence since it shows both or names, same address and most importantly, co-mingling of funds. Just another option.

do u mean without the co-ownership of the house, health and car insurance that those evidence are good to present

Prcisely... you have very strong evidence... Are you sure that you cannot be added to the health insurance though? This is usually possible without a SSN, as hubby added me to his plan throught his employment at the hospital. Try to give it a shot again.

Hi Elus,

My husband & I just have a joint bank account. We don't have utility bills together in our names because this auto debits from his bank account, no lease agreement as we are not leasing and no mortgage to pay, I only do our grocery and pay for it using the debit card of our joint account. I showed other evidences instead. Like our emails to each other since 2007, greeting cards, gifts, airline tickets during our vacations together, I am under his health insurance, and the wedding preparation where our vendors addressed their emails to both of us, as well as all the contracts of our vendors. I didn't include our phone bills as the statements were too bulky because it dated back to 2008. Don't go crazy thinking about what other evidences to show when you only have what you have. As long as your relationship is legit, you should not worry. :)
