Hi there,

I have a question about intern transfer of our case; after getting NOA1 from CSC on the 26.Feb'10, we recieved one more NOA informing:

On April 21, 2010, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

We had to wait for 2 months to hear a tranfer notice from USCIS. Finally he got his Fingerprints + Biometrics taken on the 24.May'10. And since then still nothing... It is really confusing :(

Any experience on transfer from one to another Service Center? Do you think we are close to NOA2 after they took his fingerprint+biometrics??? Or just be patient and wait

Thanks

I'm sorry, I really have no idea about the case getting transferred, although just looking at the estimated processing times for CSC and VSC lately, maybe it has to do with CSC being swamped with cases. I really don't know. But I had a question for you actually; you said your PETITIONER had to get fingerprinted and biometrics? I know the NOA1 receipt says something about this, but I hadn't actually heard of anyone getting this done for the PETITIONER, and I never received any sort of appointment date like they said in the NOA1 receipt they would send. How did that work for you guys?

At any rate, best of luck, and I hope you are getting close to your NOA2.

Thx for moving to CR1 Forum, I recognized my mistake after sending the message, but it was too late already

Well my husband (US citizen) received a notice informing to go to local immigration office in KS for his fingerprint + biometrics, and he did that.

Actually we thought it belong to normal procedure as it says at USCIS check your case information page...

Unfortunately he does  Something stupid which happened short before we found each other second time...

I know if I had any records as beneficiary, there could be a problem, but do you have any experience/idea if his record can be a problem for our case?
