The form say's to answer all questions. Telling you to put "none" or N/A in place of blank answers. I wrote "none" and sent in a supplement to the questions stating that my fiancee had no middle name, just incase we're dealing with a low IQ adjudicator. But, if you leave a question blank, they could view it as a mistake or you forgot to answer the question, then they would need clarification with an RFE. I'm not saying you would get an RFE for sure, but it's possible. I would answer the question with N/A or "none" and add a supplement regarding the question. I did a supplement for the I-129F and the G-325A. ohh yeah! I'm #######!!

06/30/06- sent I-129F petition to VSC.

07/11/06- NOA1 (received in mail)

07/19/06- RFE received in mail, IMBRA

07/28/06- e-mail, IMBRA RFE received at VSC

09/11/06- called VSC, told I'm with an adjudicating officer

09/25/06- called VSC, told to file expedited service, outside 60 days of RFE received date

09/26/06- sent expedited service request to VSC via fax and snail mail

09/26/06- Senators and Congressman making inquiries into my petition

09/29/06- expedited service request approved by VSC director

10/04/06- e-mail NOA2 approved!!!!!!

10/05/06- NVC received

10/06/06- NVC forwarded to Poland Embassy

While NA is good in most cases, don't take the small chance it could be mistaken for "not available" as far as the middle name goes (even though we know it should be read as "not applicable").

Blank could be mistaken for you forgot to include it or write it down (possible RFE for clarification).

If you want to put something down for the middle name write it this way so it is clear.

*NONE*

Then from that point on you must be consistent in how you write it on all other papers (*NONE*).

Just my opinion, as you have no idea the mind set of the many different people who will look at your papers now and in the future. An experienced case worker/officer you would think would know this. A data entery clerk who is on the first day of the job may not.

How about a squiggly line? Avoids the potential for a word such as 'none' to be mistaken for a name and also makes clear that the item was not overlooked.

I have no middle name (strange as it seems). I was thinking putting "None" for the middle name in the forms, but would they mistake you as (for ex.) "John None Doe?" as "None" in actually your middle name? Hmm....

Just leave it blank. They will also notice from your documents that you don't have a middle name. USCIS knows that some don't have any middle names. It is like when you write a foreign address, some foreign addresses don't have any state and you can just leave the state as blank.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Just leave it blank. They will also notice from your documents that you don't have a middle name. USCIS knows that some don't have any middle names. It is like when you write a foreign address, some foreign addresses don't have any state and you can just leave the state as blank.

There are no documents for the beneficiary in the petition. I would play it safe and cover your bases!! peace of mind goes a long way in this process.

This is what I would suggest as well, for the exact same reason, None being your middle name. I'd just put a ---- in the box or something, that seems to cover all bases to me.
